Foundations
For the beginner and athletic alike, this is the best starting point. This course will introduce you to the fundamental principles upon which more complex ‘compound’ movements (like a flip) can safely and effectively be built. That being said, if you have a sufficient movement level (based on our Paragym Level analysis) you can also take higher levels to start.
Foundations is about reinforcing the quality of the essential elements such as gymnastics body lines and broad spatial awareness (through exploration of novel movement patterns), introduction to the fundamental movement families, initiation to inversions, initiation to Paragym’s unique interactive spotting techniques and interactive conditioning as well as safety parameters, mindset and psycho-psychical concepts. It’s a really good starting point as well as ongoing good hygiene for anyone interested in properly (and safely!) preparing (and sustaining) their body for the wide range of acrobatic challenges proposed at Paragym.
Will this work for me?
This is our most accessible course option. It has a slower pace, is more detail oriented and good for all new clients to understand the basic principles especially for those who like to understand the “why” behind things.
Need to be able to do:
Not experience any pain currently nor have any grossly impairing movement limitations.
