Solid Aerials

Solid Aerial is a class focused on rigid aerial apparatus, primarily aerial hoop (lyra) and static trapeze, with occasional use of the aerial cube and aerial pole.

Unlike soft aerial apparatus, which use fabric wraps and friction for support, solid apparatus rely more on grip strength, direct points of contact, and body positioning around a rigid structure.

Each class also includes strength conditioning and active flexibility training to develop the strength, control, mobility, and endurance needed to progress efficiently and safely.

Orange Level — 6:00 PM

Orange is the introductory level. It is designed for students who are new to solid aerial apparatus or who are still developing their fundamentals.

Training focuses on basic mounts, safe entries, fundamental positions, hangs, suspensions, body tension, and introductory inversions.

The goal is to build a strong foundation of strength, coordination, grip, and confidence on aerial hoop and static trapeze.

Red Level — 7:00 PM

Red is the progression level for students who already have a solid foundation and are ready to work on more complex and fluid skills.

Training includes more advanced inversions, rotations, balances, longer suspensions, transitions between positions, and connected sequences.

The goal is to further develop strength, endurance, precision, cleaner lines, and greater independence on the apparatus.

Which level should I choose?

Choose Orange at 6:00 PM if you are a beginner or are still developing your foundational skills.

Choose Red at 7:00 PM if you already have a good command of the fundamentals and are ready to progress toward more advanced skills, transitions, and sequences.
